Use of this website constitutes agreement with our shipping, refund and return policies.

Do you accept insurance or Medicare?

If you currently have insurance, you may purchase from us and submit the bill to your insurance company for reimbursement. Currently, we do not accept insurance directly. This website is primarily designed for people who are uninsured or under-insured to assist them in obtaining testing supplies at low prices. We are currently working with one of our associates in establishing a company that will accept your insurance. Please check back for updates.

What is your Standard Shipping Method?

Our standard shipping method is through USPS First Class Mail which takes about 5-7 business days for In-Stock items. We also give you the option of upgrading to USPS Priority or UPS. However, At a minimum, we recommend that you select shipping with Signature Confirmation if you think your shipment will be left out in cold/hot temperature for an extended amount of time. Understand that you must be present to accept this shipment. We are not responsible for delays in shipments caused by the USPS, UPS or any other carrier.

Do you sell international products?

We only sell products that are manufactured for use in the United States of America; however recently, due to consumer demand, we have offered a 1-2 exceptions at considerable lower prices. These are clearly marked and differences seen in the photos as well.

Are your payments secure when you purchase through DiabetesSuppliesPlus.com?

Your payment information is safe. Our site is protected with SSL (Secure Socket Layer Technology) 128 bit encryption. This is the highest form of encryption available in the market. Between the 128 Bit Encryption and SSL, you can rest assured that your transactions are secure.

When shopping online, you may have seen pictures or boxes that say "Not for Retail Sale" or "Mail Order Box". What does this mean?

There are 5 types of boxes:

  • USA Retail - standard box found in stores
  • Mail Order - special box for mail order companies to sell to consumers
  • Health Plan - special box meant for insurance companies to sell to consumers
  • Professional - special box meant for healthcare professionals to sell to consumers
  • DME - special box meant for durable medical equipment suppliers to sell to consumers

All contain the EXACT same product, but carry different prices. We reserve the right to substitute two boxes of 50 count for 100 count boxes, or vice versa. We reserve the right to substitute box types as long as the product is functionally the same, as above.

The manufacturers make them look different and label them as "Not For Retail Sale" in an effort to scare consumers into buying the most expensive box. It is your choice. Though the picture of the product you see could be a standard retail box, the item you receive in the mail might say "Mail Order Box" or "Health Plan Box" or "Not For Retail Sale".

Please be assured you received the EXACT same product as retail, with one important exception: you paid less for it.

How long is the average dating on your test strips?

Our test strips have expiration dates that are at least six months to a year out unless otherwise noted.

How can I get a copy of my invoice?

An invoice will be sent via email when you initially place your order. We also enclose an invoice in the shipment. To request an additional copy, e-mail us at info@diabetessuppliesplus.com or call us toll free at (855) 342-7877. We are open Monday through Friday from 9:00 - 5:00.

Do you offer special promotions or discounts?

Yes, we send out emails once every two or three months with online coupons that offer various discounts. Please include info@diabetessuppliesplus.com in your address book so the e-mail does not go into your spam folder.

What forms of payments do you accept?

Currently we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. We also accept Paypal. If you need to pay by check, please send us an email to info@diabetessuppliesplus.com,or call us at (855) 342-7877 and we can make arrangements for this. Once we receive your check and it has cleared the bank, your products will be shipped.

Is there a minimum amount that I have to spend at DiabetesSuppliesPlus.com?

No you can purchase as little or as much as you like. If your total purchase is $99.00 or more, shipping within the United States (Any State) Standard (5-7 days), is FREE!

What is your return and exchange policy?

We do not allow return of any:

  • Insulin
  • Mens E.D. Products
  • Diabetic Footwear
  • Short Dated Test Strips marked on sale

Orders can be returned/exchanged within 10 days. The packaging must not have been opened, and the product must be in perfect condition. We do not pay postage for products that are returned. You can cancel your order as long as it has not shipped out yet. Please send an email to info@diabetessuppliesplus.com within 24 hours of your purchase.

We sell diabetic supplies at a large discount. Because Diabetic Testing Manufacturers will not sell directly to small companies like ours; we leave the product responsibility with the manufacturer. This is common practice in our industry, Diabetic Testing Manufacturers (Abbott, Bayer, Lilly, etc.) all prefer to support their own medical products, due to the sensitive nature of their business, quality control, and product liability. If there is a manufacturer’s defect in your discount glucose test strips or any of our products, we will provide you with the manufacturer’s phone number.

We are NOT health care professionals. We cannot give any advice to the effectiveness of products, frequency, or delivery of any product we sell. We are only responsible for delivery of diabetic supplies; any claims to the potency or ineffective nature, or inaccurate results must be resolved by the Manufacturer of the product. Do I need a prescription to shop at DiabetesSuppliesPlus.com?

Currently most our products can be purchased without a prescription.

However: Syringes, Pen Needles, and Insulin Pumps all require a doctors prescription. Please fax/email this to us so that we may proceed with your order. 1-855-342-7877

Do you have a Doctor / Nurse / Pharmacist, etc. on staff?

No. We are NOT health care professionals. We cannot give any advise to the effectiveness of products, frequency, or delivery of any product we sell./

We are only responsible for delivery of diabetic supplies, any claims to the potency or ineffective nature, or inaccurate results must be resolved by the Manufacturer of the product.

If there is a product that I use but it is not on the site, can DiabetesSuppliesPlus.com order it for me?

Yes we can. We can get virtually any diabetes testing supply product that is currently available in the Unites States of America. We are also adding new items every day, but if you do not see what you are looking for, please do not hesitate to call us at (855) 342-7877 or email us to info@diabetessuppliesplus.com. We are open 7 days a week. Regardless of the item, we can get it. Whether it is a different kind of test strip or meter, or an insulin pump or pump supplies, we can get it./

 

When I order insulin will it be shipped refrigerated? If not does it affect the insulin not to be?

Due to the temperature sensitive nature of Insulin, we recommend that you select shipping with Signature Confirmation if you think your shipment will be left out in cold/hot temperature for an extended amount of time. Understand that you must be present to accept this shipment. However if you do choose standard or qualify for free shipping and the order is placed on a Wednesday through Friday, then we will reserve the right to hold the order till the beginning of the following week. This is meant to reduce the possibility of harmful environmental conditions affecting the insulin during longer transit times.

We ship all insulin with ice packs as per the manufacturers guidelines. The medicine will remain cool for the majority of the shipping time however the last few days the product will likely reach room temperature. Once you receive the insulin, immediately restore it to the fridge and use prior to the expiration date. Insulin may remain outside of the fridge for up to 30 days.

You are not an authorized distributor, vendor, reseller, etc etc etc...?

On March 9, 1998, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in favor of hair-care distributors and consumers: In a unanimous ruling, the U.S. Supreme Court, 118 S.Ct. 1125 (1998), found that once a lawful sale of a copyrighted item has occurred, the Copyright Act's prohibition against unauthorized distribution is inapplicable to a domestic or foreign distributor who decides to resell the item in venues other than those intended by the manufacturer. In the court's opinion: "Once the copyright owner places a copyrighted item in the stream of commerce by selling it, he has exhausted his statutory right to control its distribution."
